Dr. Sumedha Anand, also known as Dr. Sumi, obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Toronto and has been serving the Greater Toronto Area since 2021. She has several years of experience in India, where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2011) and Master of Dental Surgery in Oral Pathology & Microbiology (2015).

Dr. Sumi eagerly looks forward to meeting all the wonderful First Street Family Dental patients. She is a compassionate, skilled professional dedicated to providing all her patients with the highest quality dental care. She takes pleasure in all aspects of general dentistry and actively engages in expanding and updating her skills through continuing education courses. Additionally, she offers Nitrous Oxide Sedation to ensure a more relaxed and pleasant dental experience for you.

Dr. Sumi enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking with her husband outside of her professional life. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Jennifer brings our Team over 40 years of experience in the Dental Field. She graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant & throughout her career has had the opportunity to gain experience & knowledge full circle from positions as a Chair-side Assistant, Treatment Co-Ordinator, Clinical & Office Management, Hygiene Co-Ordinator & Front Desk Administrator.

She is passionate & caring about everything she does for our Patients & she shows that from the moment she picks up the phone to greet you.

When she’s not at the Dental Office her passion is being a Mother of 3! She also enjoys hiking, biking & cooking.

Michelle graduated in 1980 with a certification in Dental Assisting. After gaining extensive experience in the field, Michelle returned to school to complete her Level II Assisting certification and later pursued a Bachelor of Science.

Throughout her career, Michelle has worked with a variety of dental specialties, including periodontics, orthodontics, pedodontics, and in a TMJ clinic.

Passionate about learning, Michelle continually explores new treatment modalities and studies different techniques whenever time allows. Outside of work and study, she enjoys spending quality time with her granddaughter and caring for her horses.
